What it made us think of: Prep school
What we liked: School and band uniform influences, delicious purples, gladiator sandals, masks as headbands, prints on prints
What we didn't: Some of the material is painfully shiny. Over all, it just makes us annoyed anew with the suckitude of Anna's Target line.
Who: Doo.Ri
What it made us think of: Being very cold
What we liked: Sparkly tights, pleating and ruffles, the skirts, the necklaces, delicate chain details
What we didn't: Hypothermia lipstick, high vamp shoes (cut, blister, cut)
Who: 3.1 Philip Lim
What it made us think of: Katherine Hepburn as styled by Rodarte
What we liked: The shoes, the color pallet, leather, the red trench, easy pants, sequins, the cocktail dresses
What we didn't: Same as every year: we can't afford it.Who: Proenza Schouler
What it made us think of: Shirt-skirts, South American frogs
What we liked: Tied up skirts, sequins
What we didn't: Tie-dye

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog. October is the perfect month for anyone who loves a dramatic look. Because of Halloween, you can get away with more in the makeup department than you can the rest of the year. You want to try false eyelashes? Go for it. You want to color your eyebrows? Do it. Color outside the lines with eyeshadow? Why not? Live it up so much in October that people will think black lipstick in November is practically normal.
