Love or Loathe: Bronze Flats

becca and I have both acquired funky metallic shoes of late, and you haven't always been fans. Steve Madden's bronze (they say pewter), cut-out jazz flats have been marked down from $79.5 to $39.99. I'm not a fan. The random cut-outs seem to compromise the structure of the shoes, and the complete lack of arch is off-putting. Am I right or are they the best thing ever?
