Milan Fashion Week FW13: Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Gucci

Emporio Armani took a wild leap into new territory with a visit to Japan for inspiration. Drawing much of that inspiration from the work of Rei Kawakubo (Comme des Garçons). Not every pieces was successful, but the playfulness was refreshing.

Giorgio Armani followed suit seeming to draw inspiration from Rei Kawakubo's earlier work. At play here were also French themes and plenty of classic cinema references.

Gucci tends to be sexy, and this show was no exception. It was the forties vamped up with python prints and leather.
