What it made us think of: In the future, aliens will pillage our museums and take our most famous canvases for their Martian fashion needs.
What we liked: Van Gogh prints, full skirts, slim pants, color!
What we didn't: Taylor Momson's eye makeup, 80's prom feelingWho: Cushnie et Ochs
What it made us think of: Did one of America's more interesting labels get mind wiped by Kim Kardashian?
What we liked: proportion play, neon yellow and pink, peplums, pencil skirts, harness-like details in the straps. Models have boobs!
What we didn't: Kim Kardashian = too tight and too much boob
Who: Alice + Olivia
What it made us think of: If my father bought me church dresses in the 60s, he would have bought these.
What we liked: bright!, print heels, ginger model, low side buns, head scarves, aqua eye shadow
What we didn't: I think I wore some of those wedges in the 90s. Ew.

October is the perfect month for anyone who loves a dramatic look. Because of Halloween, you can get away with more in the makeup department than you can the rest of the year. You want to try false eyelashes? Go for it. You want to color your eyebrows? Do it. Color outside the lines with eyeshadow? Why not?
