Project Design: To Mom From Dad

Were he still alive, today would be my father's 76th birthday and my parents' 29th anniversary. This weekend, my mother and I spent some time talking about how much Dad loved to shop. Every year for Christmas and her birthday (and sometimes for other holidays), he liked to buy her a head-to-toe outfit. He preferred highly feminine -- almost Victorian -- details, bright colors, and floral prints, and he had a weakness for all things 1950s. Needless to say, my mother was a very well-dressed lately.
