Summer Blazer Sale

Judging by our recent dress code poll (and angry emails we get when we feature an interview outfit sans blazer) more than a few of you work in a conservatively attired environment. In such a place, a blazer is usually required. While this is fine and dandy while you're inside the office, you don't want to die of heat exhaustion if you have to meet a client on-site or look like a frazzled mess after running to the bank.pale linen blazer, J. And one last blazer to think about: This floral blazer from J.Crew is $59.99, down from $168. But is it unprofessional? I don't think it is, but I also know florals are decidedly feminine and most dress codes treat feminine and unprofessional as synonyms.

I love the floral blazer. I think you can make it work professionally, though not with the rest of the outfit in the picture (obviously, formal short no-go).

Happy 10th Anniversary... and goodbye.

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog. What do you think?” She gave me a few tips, wrote a couple “guest posts” and before long became my blogging partner. Together, we built a blog and community I could have never built alone. From the end of 2007 to the end of 2014, Fashion Me Fabulous ran regular content about fun, affordable fashion.
