London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2010: Central St. Martins

Each fall the Central St. Martins grad class shows at London Fashion Week. The show is a fascinating collection of what's to come in fashion. These designers aren't just fresh out of school with new ideas, but they are also able to show the world what they can do without having to worry about buyers yet. Some famous CSM grads include Alexander McQueen, Matthew Williamson, Luella Bartley, Stella McCartney, Gareth Pugh, Hussein Chalayan, Christopher Kane and the list goes on and on (with exciting new comers like Mark Fast and Mary Katrantzou who both showed in 2008 and have quickly drawn attention on London's catwalks since).

they are all interesting pieces, altho I won't wear any of them....alright alright, I have a soft spot for the gigantic furry scarf from Josefina Larsson and am half tempted to go to Joannes, buy some fur, and make myself one just cuz it look so snuggly and warm and it's f'ing snowing in March here. =(

They're all bloody awful; time to grow up and learn that quality tailoring, proportions and top-notch fabrics are where it's at. God I hate overly conceptual fashion. Ick!
