FMF Reader Poll: Mascara

Mascara is one of those magical items. If you don't have any time to apply makeup when makeup is needed, just swipe on a little mascara. It takes a plain face to a new level. It's also has magical properties to it's price range. It can cost almost nothing or more than a good pair of shoes. There are also a lot of other variable like waterproofing, color, brush type, ect... I've even seem vibrating mascara wands and mascara that comes off in tubes at the end of the day. What do you look for in a mascara?

I buy waterproof and non-waterproof. I read somewhere that a chemical in the waterproof can make your lashes brittle.

I LOVE colored mascaras. Sometimes they don't work very well (they flake a lot easier, don't give as great a color as the tube says, etc). But a bold statement is blue mascara- look for Urban Decay or Isadora, it's the best I've found.

i look for one that doesn't clump, and is not to thick as i have naturally long eyelashes, i just need to add extra colour to the ends.

i actually look for a brush that separates the lashes rather then makes them longer of thicker [I hate it when they clump] one thing i use is a needle to separate them. it works very well.
