Vintage Dress Coats

It happens every year. I get all gussied up in a sexy dress, killer heels and dramatic makeup for a dinner out and I top the look off with...my black wool overcoat? It's even worse at a slightly chilly event like a gallery show where I end up covered most of the time. Why poshify if no one sees it? Thankfully, I bought a great purple trench that will work on special occasions. If I hadn't come across it, I was fully planning on buying a vintage dress coat this fall.

I love the green coat! Such a fantastic color, and a great way to brighten up a world of dingy black, grey, and brown coats. (he he, brown coats!)

I desperately need a winter coat. I have a houndstooth one, but it is just too fancy for everyday activity!
