What: Distinct and designer pieces with an emphasis on dresses

When: 1950s -1980s. Their 60s selection is particularly strong.

Why: Because their meticulous vintage collection keeps distracting me when I put together shopping posts.

How Much: Under $100 for some items and up to $1200 for a vintage Valentino evening gown. (We won't even think about the price of the diamond and platinum jewelry, but we will stare at it lovingly.) Expect to pay around $200 for most items, which isn't bad for excellent vintage.

Favorite pieces: 1970s wine jersey dress $120 (want!); 1960s mod faux two piece mini dress $320; 1950s yellow lace prom dress $250; 1980s leather body con halter dress $230

You want to try false eyelashes? Go for it. You want to color your eyebrows? Do it. Color outside the lines with eyeshadow? Why not? Live it up so much in October that people will think black lipstick in November is practically normal.
