Save or Splurge: Slippers

In the cold winter months, slippers are a must for keeping toes warm. I just moved to an apartment with wood floors so my slippers have become even more important. It took me a few years to find my pair of slippers (mostly because size 11 slippers at a reasonable price are harder to find). I wanted slippers that were warm and fit, but I didn't want to pay a lot for them. I put a $15 cap on the price of slippers and eventually found an $8 pair at Kmart. They're great.

Since slippers never get worn outside and don't need to have as much support for your feet as walking shoes need to have, slippers are a save for me rather than a splurge. I've never had a problem with them falling apart quickly, and I don't have a problem finding cute and comfy slippers at good prices.

Do you save or splurge on warmth for your toes?

Save, but I hate novelty slippers like that.

Slippers are a semi save for me. I spent about $30 on mine, which I normally wouldn't do, but they were originally $50, and they're sheepskin, so no matter how cold my apartment gets, my toes stay toasty.
