I spend an unhealthy amount of time on Etsy, but I found this week's vintage shop through their blog. I hadn't read closely and was drooling over some of the pictured clothes. I kept wanting to know where they'd been purchased and if I could get some too. Just when I was about to explode with glee over the green tweed jacket with yellow toggle buttons, I realized Violet Folklore is an Etsy shop.
Most of their inventory is from the 1970s-1980s with a few other decades thrown in for spice. This is exactly the sort of store I love: vintage that doesn't look dated and almost everything is under $50. Violet Folklore carries a variety of sizes as well, so curvier girls will find plenty to love. Three cheers for a store that's not catering to emaciated hipsters spending daddy's money.
