The Horror: Sneaker Boot

At a development meeting:
Shoe designer 1: Do you remember what it was like to wear sopping sneakers?
Shoe designer 2: Yes! I loved the squishy socks.
Shoe designer 1: And how long it would take to dry those suckers out.
Shoe designer 2: The chafing of wet skin. Good times.
Shoe designer 1: What if we could bring that fun to the winter? Imagine a boot with all the holes of a sneaker so snow can seep in.
Shoe designer 2: Wet and freezing! I love it! Could we make them in a metallic purple?
Shoe designer 1: Uh, no. That's a little tacky.
Shoe designer 2: Copper?
Shoe designer 1: Deal.
