Having been reading about books fashion icons and fashion as social commentary, both of which frequently pointed to the importance of Madonna's various looks, I've been wondering where she can go. Menswear, fetish gear, underwear as outer-wear, and even rural Americana are no longer shocking in the context of pop. She broke those barriers.
