Fashion Horror: Who is Designing Shoes?!

I was on my break at work and thought I'd check out Zappos for any great deals that Fashion Me Fabulous' readers just had to know about. Unfortunately I was distracted by the fact that Nascar, yes, the sport with the cars, is designing women's shoes. Some of them are cute, like this spotted ballet flat. Some of them are previously untapped levels of fug, like this demin wedge clog with tattoo inspired embroidery. Either way, I have to ask, why is Nascar designing shoes?!
