Fashion Horror: College Economics
I love patent leather peep toes, pleated a-line shirts and football. Bundling up and eating sausage and cheese while watching my team play is a great way to spend an autumn afternoon. There's something about the violence, coordination and painted faces that makes me think this is our tame version of the Gaelic warrior poet. Still, Chip & Pepper is insane if they think I'm going to spend $86 for a long-sleeved tee, $126 for a team sweatshirt, or $96 for logoed crop pants. I'd much rather buy directly from the university of my choice and spend a third of the Chip & Pepper price. Does anyone else think the idea of designer team clothing is a little off the wall?
