Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Gala 2012

Since the Met Ball is the kick-off for an annual costume exhibit, I feel the red carpet looks should be judged according to the theme. This year's theme examines the relationship between the work of two towering women in Italian fashion: Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada. Thus the clothes should be whimsical, nerdy, surreal and slightly girly. They should neither be elegant nor sex pot. Let's see how people did.
