What it made us think of: If the Jetsons had been made in the 80s as a Nintendo game instead of a cartoon.
What we liked: Pixelated animal prints, jackets that looked like Nintendo armor, driving neon-accented driving gloves, graphic sweatshirts, strappy button boots, nipped waists
What we didn't: Pointy boots, sheer panels, sneaker-laced shoes, cone boob armor
Who: Dries Van Noten
What it made us think of: 54 ways to repurpose vintage silk scarves.
What we liked: Vivid, scarf-like prints; flowing fabrics, orange eye shadow, jackets
What we didn't: Fur shoulder puffs; make that all the fur accents in this collection
Who: Akris
What it made us think of: Geometric paintings, which I love because those paintings harmonize the creative side of my brain with the overly analytical and logical side.
What we liked: Color blocking, texture blocking, prints, the pieces that looked like light peeking around blinds,
What we didn't: Monochrome pieces, boxy shapes, hand sheaths
