Project Design: Envelope Clutches

This week's Project Accessory found themselves in Kenneth Cole's boutique being challenged to create accessories for a look he assigned to each of them. All of them were required to make a clutch and whatever else they thought would work. The prize: Winning accessories will be sold in Kenneth Cole stores this holiday season.

Brian's winning look involved a molded unicorn horn and rustic leather, but most of the designers went for some sort of envelope clutch. These are classic, chic and easy to make in a short period of time. Since the unicorn clutch (pictured right) is far too unique to find similar items, here is a round up of interesting and unique envelope clutches on Etsy. Which one would you carry this holiday season?

I am LOVING that raw leather clutch!! I never really got into clutches until the over-sized versions became popular. Thanks for sharing!!

As a nerdy kid who carries my laptop as often as I carry my wallet, I usually get a super chic/clutch looking laptop sleeve. This way when occasion calls, I can just ditch everything, put essentials in the "clutch" and go (and of course the padding protect those fragile make up compact etc).
