Winter Skirts

Many women would argue that skirts are not for winter. In fact, I get a lot of comments when I choose to wear a skirt in the blustering cold weather. Having grown up in a private school that required not only skirts everyday but also walking outside to classrooms, I learned a few things about winter skirts--warm materials (wool, corduroy, heavy knits), length (no mini) and heavy fabric (so the wind won't blow it up).

Oh I totally relate! Private school in New England wearing skirts, and I totally love tights, boots, and skirts in winter! Great picks!
