As a daily reader of this blog, I want to tell you (again) that I love it.

And I also love your acceptance and push towards plus size models and fashion.

Right now, I'm writing a paper for my Intro to Fashion class about plus size fashion, and I stumbled upon this little gem:

I think it's really disturbing, and since I'm tired of skinny women complaining about bigger women, who are, in turn, complaining about clothing, I think more people need to see this.

Catie, you must read The Beauty Myth by Naomi Wolf. I think she takes a few creative liberties in the book, but she has some great stats and insights about beauty and the war against women. Even my husband was compelled by the chapter on beauty and hunger.
