Poll: Summer Pants

Earlier today, Jael Paris discussed the horror of those cropped pants that hit mid-calf, making anyone wearing them look considerably shorter. Summer pants can be tricky to find though. They have all the fit difficulties of any pants plus the length has to be just right. I'm a fan of capri-style pants that hit me just below the knee, a flattering skirt length on me too.

I just realized that, although I claim to be anti-capris, I have what I call "shorts" that are just below the knee (camo cargo shorts with a little cuffing). So they are technically capris! o_O

Betrayed by my own wardrobe!

October is the perfect month for anyone who loves a dramatic look. Because of Halloween, you can get away with more in the makeup department than you can the rest of the year. You want to try false eyelashes? Go for it. You want to color your eyebrows? Do it. Color outside the lines with eyeshadow? Why not?
