Linen Dresses

Linen is my favorite summertime material. It's light, breezy and a nice natural fiber to wear during the hot summer days. It just breathes so nicely. I'd wear a linen dress everyday if I could. I even like the slightly rumpled look of linen. It fits with the lazy, hazy days of summer. When ironed, linen can look wonderfully crisp too, especially with some of the fabric blends used in these dresses.. Pictured:
American Rag Layered Dress, Macy's $24.99 (on sale from $45)
Belted Blue Linen/Cotton Dress, ASOS $76.09
White Linen Button Dress, Urban Outfitters $48
Ruby Tie-Belt Tank Dress, Jones New York $69

Print Linen & Cotton Dress, Nordstrom $98
Red Tailored Deep V Dress, ASOS $59.18
Denim-Look Blue Linen Dress, Forever 21 $24.80

Linen can be a bit tricky to wash because it's very delicate and often blended with other delicate fabrics. The first eight dresses are washable by hand or delicate cycle in the washing machine. These last four dresses are dry clean only, but I couldn't resist including them.

I actually own the pinstriped dress by Urban Outfitters. (First row, third dress.) It's too big in the bust, so I'm going to return it soon. :( Too bad, because it's adorable!
