London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2010

Who: Roksanda Ilincic
What it made us think of: 1930s tea parties.
What we liked: embellishments, long but flattering skirts, the overall feminine and relaxed silhouette, the cape dress
What we didn't: A beautiful show, no doubt, but I miss some of the designer's usual over-the-top designs.Who: Paul Costelloe
What it made us think of: Beethoven's steampunk wenches
What we liked: thigh-high leather boots, long leather gloves, metallics, big hips, coats
Who: Kinder Aggugini
What it made us think of: Napoleon and Josephine
What we liked: military coats, contrast trim, knee length skirts
What we didn't: Short me frowns on the stubbifying boots, but all will be forgiven if you give me some of the clothes.Who: Jonathan Saunders
What it made us think of: Trench coats, umbrellas and dramatic reunions in the rain
What we liked: Victorian influenced boots, the pale palette, cutouts, great silhouettes
What we didn't: cutouts, other silhouettes were flattening.
