Love or Loathe: Everything but the Kitchen Sink

This "Everything but the Kitchen Sink" shirt ($45) is from The Colony, which is designed by Project Runway season one winner, Jay McCarroll. The entire women's clothing looks like this shirt. McCarroll also designs fabric so it makes sense that he wants to play with prints. I'm just not sure how to feel about this shirt.

It reminds me of Punky Brewster (in a good way), and it could be quite cute and playful. I can see it with a flouncy skirt or a pair of jeans and a crop sleeve jacket. However, this is a lot going on for just a t-shirt. It may also be a little too cutesy. What do you think? Are you crazy for the patterns? Or are the patterns a little to crazy for you?

hmmm...I like the poka dot. My first thought is teenager. It's too cute/young for me, eventho I'm only 21

I think it could be cute on the right person, but I agree it's very young-looking and would probably be best on a teenager.

My husband said to me the other day, "What's up with Hannah Montana's clothes? Does she wear everything in her closet at once, especially if it doesn't match? It's too noisy!" I think he'd say the same about this, and I would agree.

I really like this, so comfy with jeans. Would never fit....

I like parts of it. As a layering piece, I think it would be fun. Seeing all of it at one time is too much for me though.

i think it belongs in the juniors dept, not the women's section...
i'm not a big fan but can see the appeal for a teenage girl

I don't care for the top - I feel like it's just being too indecisive.
