Editor's Pick of the Week: Gold Bond Healing Lotion

It's cold cold cold outside, which means the heat runs more, the showers get hotter and the skin gets much, much dryer. If that bitter winter wind and dry indoor air is taking it's toll on your formerly soft skin, Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Lotion may just be the answer.

I hadn't used it before this weekend. Jael Paris offered me some to cure my unbearably dry skin. Not only does this stuff really work, but it also happens to be hypoallergenic so it didn't irritate my super sensitive skin! (I rarely find such a lotion). I think I'll be taking a trip to the store to get some of my own. There is also a healing foot cream.

Have you tried the body butter from Bath and Body Works? they feel and smell incredibly good, altho I don't have sensitive skin, only dry skin.

I love body butter, but Bath and Body Works products make my skin break out. And I have nowhere near the allergy problems of becca (who is allergic to everything).

I love this stuff too. I usually put it on after showering, then before I leave I put on a little bit of Body Shop body butter for extra smoothness and scent.

Walgreens has this buy one get one half off this week (Jan 3 until Jan 9), and you can get a $1.00 coupon (for each bottle) on Gold Bond's website.

Definitely worth the try at that price!
