Houndstooth

Some trends are difficult to copy. The clean lines and layers of beige we saw on the Spring Summer runways, for example, won't trickle down with any sort of flattering shape or intrigue. But each year we of the thin wallets do seem to get some sort of mimicable blessing from the fashion gods.

This is the second year in a row houndstooth made a splash. Last year it was Marc by Marc Jacobs' colorful take, this year Preen did something similar and Alexander McQueen produced a more severe line in the print.
