Paris Fashion Week Spring Summer 2010

Who: Viktor & Rolf
What it made us think of: 80s geometric looks as interpreted by prom materials
What we liked: It's funky but still sellable, a mix many designers are struggling with this season. Want the shoes.
What we didn't: We want detail shots!
Who: Sonia Rykiel
What it made us think of: What if Betsey Johnson and Jean Paul Gaultier threw a party?
What we liked: The clear raincoat with black trim looked drawn, tights with peek-a-boo colors at the top, color in this season's beige sea, cute shoes
Who: Tao
What it made us think of: Punkers, and not the mall punk kind
What we liked: Much of the collection is experimental, but the chopped and woven shirts should sell well.
What we didn't: The wadded up dresses didn't fit the anarchism of everything else.
Who: Vivienne Westwood
What it made us think of: Crazy cat lady couture
What we liked: Cool tights, tassel earrings, the evening gowns
What we didn't: The styling made it hard to really see the clothes.
