Shoe of the Week: Strappy Sandal/Bootie

These strappy sandals have some serious presence. Best of all, these are the kind of sandals that only work in the summer. I see them anchoring a flirty cocktail dress, adding edge to a maxi dress, and wearing well into fall over brightly colored tights. (I want to see them over my hot pink tights paired with a black mini and a cute top.)

At $89.95 from DSW, these Zigi Soho Trump Leather Ankle Booties are a bit of an investment but a worthwhile one. How would you wear them?

I love the style of these Sandal/Booties even though I don't entirely get the whole glunge trend, It just doesnt suit me - its one of those trends you need to be super tall and skinny to pull off. I have seen lots of London ladies sporting the look, its really hit and miss in my opinion
