Save or Splurge: Lace Tights

Lace tights were big for fall. I've been watching for them to go on sale now that spring is finally here. I think lace tights are a great touch for spring clothes.

I have one pair of lace tights, which I purchased a few years ago at Target. They were a save at $6, but I wanted to try lace tights without wasting money. I discovered I really like the look of lace legs, but the cheap tights leave a lot to be desired. The seams are weak and tear easily especially those at the top of the tights. I've looked at some higher quality tights that look like they would hold together better. The lace weave is also a little loose and easier to snag on the cheaper tights.

So lace tights might be worth a bit of a splurge, but I wouldn't go crazy. I have no intention of paying above $20 to $15 for tights. Some of the really high quality tights cost $30 or more. I'd be happy with these Calvin Klein Graphic Lace Tights on sale for $12.99. They should hold up nicely, but I wouldn't be devastated if I accidentally destroyed them, which is easy to do with tights.

I love lace tights and own several pairs. I agree that they are great for spring. I couldn't splurge on tights of any kind so I am always on the look out for sales and scoop them up whenever I can!
