Save or Splurge: Cashmere

I love Christmas and post-Christmas sales because cashmere can be found at incredible prices. Good, quality cashmere sweaters last a long time and are much more cozy than lesser sweaters. I am willing to splurge a little on these purchases.

However, I'm not one to pay more than I have to for anything. I wait for the sales, or I wait to see what's leftover after winter. When sweater sales do come around though, I skip the cheap sweaters and the trendier pieces. I move on to classics like this v-neck silk and cashmere sweater from Victoria Secret. The rich materials and classic style are well worth the $39 sale price. I wouldn't pay that for most sweaters, but this one, which comes in 10 colors, is an investment worth making.

What about you? Is cashmere a save or a splurge or a little of both?

I refuse to pay more than $50 for cashmere because I buy all my sweaters when boutiques have clearance in the spring. It's so worth it for the cuddly factor.

Both. I'd splurge, but still wouldn't pay a whole lot.
