Hatfeathers Vintage sells a nice collection of men's and women's vintage clothing from the 1940s-1980s and a small bit from previous decades. WWII-60s mod is their specialty, and I know that's right up your alley. With such reasonable prices, this should be one of your first stops for vintage dresses. Hatfeathers' Vintage also sells on Ebay, but their auction inventory is currently lacking.
