$150 Challenge: Homecoming Look + Bonus Look

The $150 Challenge is FMF's effort to show that great style doesn't require great sums of money. The goal of the $150 is to create a look where all of the pieces combined, including shoes and accessories, cost no more than $150.

This week's look is ready for the homecoming dance and includes everything from the dress and shoes to the makeup and accessories for only $148.44. If I recall from my younger years, this is about what an average dress alone costs. Instead of going for the all-out formal attire, this look is cute, young, fresh and full of re-wearable pieces. (See below)

I find that most dresses worn to dances end up hanging in the closet forever, but this one is can be worn again. With the added edge of this look no one will even notice you're wearing your dress from the dance. This look costs $139.79 total. If you already have the dress, tights and shoes from the look above it only costs an additional $87.19

My senior prom dress was two pieces and cost less than $40 total. I've worn the top and skirt many times since.
