Get Ruffled for Spring Summer 2008

Shoes aren't the only thing getting ruffed up this spring. Miu Miu, Lanvin, Viktor & Rolf and many more sent models down the runway in clown-like ruffled collars, sleeves and skirts. On the right person, ruffles can look soft and romantic. Other people can end up looking like a gussied up five-year-old.

When dabbling in ruffles, start small and plain. A printed dress like the Stella McCartney above may overwhelm you if super girly isn't what you're going for. Likewise, a ruffled collar doesn't need to reach your elbows.
