Etsy Shop of the Week: shulamite

Shulamite's shop full of asain-inspired accessories and lingerie is hand-made by the mother-daughter team of Pauline Tweedy and Mandi Apple Collingridge. Tweedy, the mother of the team,is a seamstress with about 45-years experience. Collingridge says her talents lie in hand-sewing, textiles, crafting and embroidery.

Together, the team creates adorable underwear (pictured), cute cuffs, nighties, shorts and sleep sets. They even create doll clothes.

According to Collingridge, they use a wide variety of fabrics including many Japanese and Asian fabrics, hand-dyed and hand-painted fabrics, embroidered tulle, damask, silk velvet, Dupioni silk, satin, brocade, luxury lace.

This Reves a Minuit de la Belle Epoque Camisole and Shorts Set is currenly the most popular item at Shulamite. The Kyoko Cuff, Kyoto Geiko Camisole and Shorts Set and Ocean Moon Nightdress are among the sellers' favorites.

The shop has a great variety of adorable styles and will create something custom if they don't have exactly what you want. This shop is definatly a great place to shop in the world of Etsy.
