Fabulous Fashion Find: Gibbous

A friend recently sent me a link to this shop. Gibbous is a small fashion house that creates new clothing out of old and tattered garments, found items, and other trinkets. They create the clothing free form by putting together the pieces they've found. The four designers work together to create unique sculpted clothing out of items from the 1800s or from last year. Gibbous believes in heirloom items that have been loved, worn, repaired and reinvented as they are passed on.

You can shop online or visit locations where their clothing is sold. There are not a lot of items available, and they cost quite a bit. But wearable art with a rich and fascinating history is well worth it. You can also view their gallery.
