Color Trends for Spring Summer 2008

Bright colors still made a showing on several major runways. If you were worried that the orange silk blouse you bought in 2007 would look too last year, you can breathe a sigh of relief. (But if it looks good on you, wear it no matter what everyone else is in!) Bold colors will be around for at least another six months.

In this parade of color, yellow is the master of ceremonies. If yellow ranks high on your color terror alert, check back later for my post on how your skin and the color of the moment can make peace.

And returning from it's 90s grave are neutrals. Think beige, brown, cream, olive, grey and navy. Some runway shows featured heavily in these colors which were then punctuated with fuchsia, cobalt or yellow. If you're worried that neutral is just a nice word for boring, stay tuned for my post about how spicy neutrals can be.
