Friday night, I wore heels to the bar, and Saturday morning my feet were swollen and angry. When I put on my sandals, the pain in my feet disappeared. I LOVE them. I believe they are the un.piper style. Retail is something like $90, I got them for $45 at an outlet (plus military discount). I'd have paid the full sticker price if I had known how great they were going to be for my feet, though I did buy them with my long-walkin' summer in mind.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14320362920232557285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843870007364769629.post-26807182942370476902009-07-29T14:27:04.587-04:002009-07-29T14:27:04.587-04:00Coats are always a good thing to splurge on, worn ...Coats are always a good thing to splurge on, worn so often it makes it worth it. My most frequent splurge item would have to be footwear- namely boots as you can't get good quality ones that cheaply and again something I wear a lot, so makes splurging less of a guilt trip.Tashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08528590581461459664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843870007364769629.post-51338587593304564412009-07-28T23:23:23.807-04:002009-07-28T23:23:23.807-04:00My basic black leather boots. Though the elbows now are finally beginning to show some wear. I've been looking for the last couple years and have yet to find something that fits quite as nicely.rachelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843870007364769629.post-17206084037499023822009-07-28T19:57:43.777-04:002009-07-28T19:57:43.777-04:00I so rarely splurge on one item, always rationaliz...I so rarely splurge on one item, always rationalizing that I can wait and hope I can get it on sale or find something similar and cheaper; but last November I got a pair of black leather knee high boots for $120. They are so beautiful, I wore them all winter and I know I will have them for many winters to come.LyddieGalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01604790644999494872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843870007364769629.post-17862574609916184692009-07-28T19:38:09.329-04:002009-07-28T19:38:09.329-04:00I love that coat!!I love that coat!!Iva Messyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10569911896394751235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843870007364769629.post-78408592553728516762009-07-28T16:20:10.911-04:002009-07-28T16:20:10.911-04:00I love that coat! My biggest splurges have been my shoes and handbags, and my biggest splurge coming up will be my very own pair of bespoke shoes, which will definitely be well made and well worth the money, plus they'll be made to my specs, it doesn't get much better than that!

xo

Jennifer
http://milliedeel.blogspot.comMs. B @ Millie Deelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08017849348031677122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843870007364769629.post-15893246691928773082009-07-28T16:06:35.528-04:002009-07-28T16:06:35.528-04:00I bought some Aldo red leather ankle high platform...I bought some Aldo red leather ankle high platform boots back in 1996/97 or so, for $110.. and I still have them today more than a decade later. They're in almost mint condition. I'd say they definitely paid for themselves in compliments and in durability.BekkaPoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02971810593410692392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843870007364769629.post-86126444659287673822009-07-28T15:51:19.208-04:002009-07-28T15:51:19.208-04:00Definitely the Frye Adriennes.Definitely the Frye Adriennes.kylsienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843870007364769629.post-43498128405670773752009-07-28T15:49:47.325-04:002009-07-28T15:49:47.325-04:00My best splurges have been jewelry. I have bought a Deka Ray Deathstar Debris necklace and Tiffanys sterling silver bead earrings, but the most expensive has been the Tiffanys carved heart necklace in onyx, for $250. It is simple, beautiful, and I can wear it often.FaithJnoreply@blogger.com
