Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2010

Who: Jean Paul Gaultier
What it made us think of: Wearing all your travel souvenirs.
What we liked: head gear, shiny pastel tights, embroidered boots, satin shoes, tooled leather, bright gloves, Mongolian vests, the simplest looks
What we didn't: The styling was hideous and distracting. Who: Viktor & Rolf
What the hell you're looking at: One model wore everything as coats, then the designers peeled it all off and converted each with drawstrings and zippers into other items for the models to wear. Still confused? Watch the clips below or see the whole thing on at viktor-rolf.com.
What it made us think of: Barbie's skirt is also a bag for you!
What we liked: Convertible clothing! Massive ruffs! Black and textures.
What we didn't: It's hard to actually see the clothing and their range in the images. Even so, I'm glad their doing something interesting and exciting.
